U.S. Marines with 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 2d Marine Division, prepare for Exercise Archipelago Endeavor 2021 by taking the Swedish Amphibious Corps’ basic swim qualification on Berga Naval Base, Sweden, Sept. 13, 2021. This exercise provided the opportunity for the Marines and their Swedish counterparts to engage in realistic training aimed toward building experience, teamwork and strengthening interoperability. Both forces worked toward their mutual goals during this integrated field training exercise to include maritime raid training, military-to-military collaboration and live-fire events.
