U.S. Marines with 1st Battalion (Bn), with 6th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division (2d MARDIV) received the battalion of the quarter award at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Jan. 17, 2020. Battalions throught 2d MARDIV compete, by exceeding expectations and being technically and tactfully proficient. At the end of the quarter the Bn that preformed the best are awarded Bn of the quarter.
